ABOUT OUR KITS:
We make cabin and storage kits that are easy and economical for the "Do It Yourself" person to assemble. These kits are made of standard house building materials and because of their design, are sturdier than conventional construction. They are made of pre-built sections and do not require cutting (except cutting a few pieces of plywood in half for the foundation platform). If you have never built anything before, you can still build one of our kits in a few days. You are not building from scratch. The doors, windows, and siding has already been installed into 4' wall sections. You just arrange the sections the way you want them. Prebuilt forms (trusses) are set on top of the walls to create the roof. Building on these kits is work, but it is not difficult. They are designed so that parts only fit together one way...the right way. It is really difficult to make a mistake. The instructions are written in easy non-technical English with many diagrams and photos (so you know exactly how things looks.) If you think you can't do this, think again.
The kits are rectangles. Anything else would make the roof too hard for the first-time builder. The width of the rectangle must be 16 ft, 20 ft, 24 ft, or 30 ft. because of the roof forms. The length of the rectangle can be a long as you like so you can have as many square feet as you like. To find the square feet, just multiply the width and length together.
We make two kinds of kits. They are exactly alike except for the roof. One type has a standard roof and is $15 per sq. ft. The other has a steep roof and has a built in loft. These kits also include the flooring for the loft and stairs. Steep roof kits are $22 per sq. ft.
The log siding that you see in some pictures is optional. It is $30 per ft. (and triangular eaves are precut.) Porch railing and stairs are optional: railing $30 per ft., stairs $65.
